Ichtiaque Rasool was born in a rich Muslim family in India in 1930 and received Koranic education at home until the age of nine. Recently he retired from NASA as a Chief Scientist. How did it happen, it is a long story full of suspense and adventure and that is what this book is all about.

I thought I knew Ichtiaque… but when I read his memoir ‘My life: From Riches to Rags and (almost) back’ I found out how little I knew.
Read from beginning to end in one go, I could not put it down. The book kept me awake late in the night and reads like a thriller…
I absolutely recommend this book for all those who know or have crossed paths with Dr. Rasool.
